This program carries a strong element of physical workmanship which has the essence of aiding participants in developing fine motor skills, gross motor skills, strength, endurance and confidence and gives participants the chance to foster problem solving skills, planning and preparation.
4Mile has horses who are experienced with and work willingly with children and adults living with physical disabilities as well as people with mental health challenges. Working with Horses is an enjoyable and therapeutic activity with the welcome bonus of incidental exercise making it an excellent choice for people who may not enjoy more mainstream forms of exercise.
