Agistment Services at 4Mile Farm
At 4Mile Farm, we offer a variety of agistment options to suit different needs, whether you require short-term accommodation, private paddocks, or specialised care for competitive riders and boarding school students. All agistment packages provide access to our stables, tack shed, and other farm facilities.
We also offer our equine facilities to external professionals, providing space for farriers, vets, and clinicians to work with horses in the Central Queensland area.
Agistment Options:

Agistment Options:
- Small Share Paddock Agistment
$75/week (plus GST)
Description: Shared paddocks for up to 3 horses per paddock. Owners are responsible for feeding hay (split round bales) and/or hard feeds.
Conditions: Shared grazing, owner-managed feeding, equine services. - Individual Private Paddocks
$155/week (plus GST)
Description: Private agistment in one of our smaller paddocks, ideal for competitive riders or show horses. Horses can be rugged and shod in these paddocks.
Conditions: Owner provides feed and equine services. Round bales can be placed in these paddocks. Horses can be rugged and shod. Owner is responsible for the state of the paddock. Designed for up to 3 horses from the same owner. - Short Term Accommodation
$25/night (plus GST)
Description: Private paddock, stable, or day yard for short-term accommodation/agistment. Suitable for horses needing temporary housing.
Conditions: Horses can be rugged in these paddocks. - Individual Wagon Wheel Paddocks
$155/week (plus GST)
Description: Individual paddocks with water, shelter, and grass. Suitable for competitive riders or show horses. Great for holiday or short-term care, hospital care etc.
Conditions: Owner feeds and mucks out under the shelter. Round bales can be placed in these yards. Horses can be rugged. (livery is $25/ day- owner supplies the feed) - Holiday Care
- Existing Clients: $10/day (owners supply feed)
- Casual Clients: $25/day ( owners supply feeds and hay)
Description: Short-term holiday care for your horse in either covered day yards or the Wagon Wheel paddocks.
- Benix hospital
Description: Special care for horses needing rest or rehabilitation after surgery or shoeing POA depending on aftercare requirements.
Agistment Riding at 4Mile Farm
As a valued agistment client at 4Mile Farm, you will have access to our state-of-the-art equine facilities. This includes three arenas, two round yards. and space to ride Our entire property is fully fenced, and gates leading to external roads are kept shut or locked to ensure the safety of all horses and riders.
Riding at Your Own Risk
All agistment riders ride at their own risk. We recommend that riders obtain their own rider insurance through Equestrian Australia (EA) or Pony Club Association Queensland (PCAQ).
