Rockhampton Boarding school parents our heart goes out to you all especially in term 1 when your child may not be enjoying the transition or is extremely homesick.
We have been contacted a few times over the years from parents scattered all over Australia who have sent their child to boarding school in Rocky to take them out on leave or to organise the boarder bus to visit our farm (which they do). We know word of mouth is powerful so please help spread the word.
We live 10 min from rocky so it’s not a hassle to drop back to school when we can and the boarding houses are generally good at transportation also. We want you to know that our home and farm is your child’s home and farm while they are away at school. It doesn’t worry us at all to have them here as we always have animals to feed and pat, stables to muck out or a lagoon and creek to chill out by, we can keep them busy with jobs, or can provide the space to just chill out in peace and reset.
We offer our farm for boarders free of charge as a safe space, in hope that we can help those who need it. Boarding away from home close to our hearts as is mental health and overall happiness.
When boarders just need time out, time out of the city, time away from the boarding house, time in country air and time in open spaces to reset and fill their country soul, we get it.
